WorksheetCraft ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the site collects, why, and your choices. The short version: we don't ask for your name, email, or password to use the worksheet generator, and we don't store the words you type. The detail below covers the few cookies and third-party services that may be involved.
1. What data we collect
Things you type into the Studio
When you create a worksheet — the title, words, settings — those values stay in your browser. They're sent to our server only at the moment you click Download PDF, and only so the server can generate the PDF file you download. We do not store the words you type. Once the PDF is returned, the data is discarded.
Standard server logs
Like most websites, our server records basic technical information for each request — IP address, user-agent (browser type), the page requested, and the timestamp. These logs are used only for security and debugging, and are not linked to any personal identity.
Browser storage set by this site
The Studio remembers your last-used tab (Custom / Random / Topics) in your browser's localStorage so it can be restored on your next visit. This is a small preference value that never leaves your device and is not sent to our server. You can clear it any time via your browser's storage settings.
2. Third-party services
Google AdSense
This site may use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
For more information on how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages visitors find useful. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous traffic data (pages visited, time on page, geographic region at country level). You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Hosting
Our site is hosted on standard web hosting infrastructure. The hosting provider may process technical information (IP addresses, request logs) for the sole purpose of delivering the website.
3. Children's privacy
WorksheetCraft is a tool designed for teachers, parents, homeschool families, and other adults who create worksheets for children. The site is not directed at children, does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and does not require accounts or sign-ups. Children using a worksheet downloaded from this site do not interact with the site directly.
4. Your choices
- Cookies: You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent the worksheet generator from working — only the localStorage preference would be reset on each visit.
- Ad personalization: Use Google's Ads Settings to opt out of personalized ads.
- Do Not Track: If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honor it for any first-party analytics we control.
5. Data we do not collect
To be clear about what we don't do:
- We do not require an account, name, or email address to use the Studio.
- We do not store the words, titles, or settings you put into the Studio.
- We do not sell user data to third parties.
- We do not use the data you type for ad targeting.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example when we add a new third-party service or change cookie use. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll note the change clearly on this page.
